Accompanying
I have extensive experience supporting young musicians and artists as a piano accompanist in local and state competitions including UIL as well as college audition recordings for vocalists and instrumentalists. Rates vary depending on the demands of the music as well as group considerations (e.g. accompanying a dozen solo vocalists back-to-back for a high school). Contact me with your needs and details on songs/pieces, number of rehearsals, performance vs. recording, and the number of artists to be supported for a quote.
Weddings
Featuring live piano music at your wedding will create a beautiful atmosphere for your happy moment. Whether you choose to mark the occasion with timeless classics, contemporary hymns, showtunes, or select pop, I can provide you with a refined and joyful sound.
Modern weddings take many forms so I've learned to stay nimble and to craft the music to the needs of the moment. On some occasions I have performed programs of half an hour to forty-five minutes for the entertainment of guests at reception while waiting for the wedding party to arrive. Other services have been as simple as leading two or three hymns and offering a single solo piece. Rates are therefore negotiable depending on your needs.
As a standard package, I can offer the following:
-Attendance of a wedding rehearsal/meeting with wedding coordinator
-15 minutes of Pre-Service/Processional music
-One or two pieces/songs for during the Ceremony
-5 to 10 minutes of Recessional music
For the above, a typical fee would be $300-$350. On some occasions, labor-intensive selections or custom arrangements will produce a higher rate.
For outdoor weddings, I can bring my own digital keyboard. I would prefer to hook into your existing PA system, however I can also rent an amplifier if needed for an additional fee.

Funerals
Marking the occasion of a loved one's passing is special and deserves high quality music. Funerals and memorial services come in many shapes and sizes but a typical service that I will perform resembles the following:
-5 to 10 minutes of pre-service music
-2 to 3 congregational hymns*
-5 to 10 minutes of music for the end of the service
A fee for the above would be $200 to $250, depending on whether custom and/or labor-intensive selections are desired.
*I have substantial experience as a vocalist and can the lead singing of congregational hymns from the piano.
Special Events
